The Green Life Acupuncture Clinic is located in beautiful Newport Village, Port Moody. Our Clinic offers acupuncture services in Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Burnaby area. It’s a convenient location with lots of street and underground parking. We accept direct billing for Insurance Company and MSP. If you have Extended Health Benefit, we can directly bill for your service.

Ryan J. Kang

Ryan Kang is a Registered Acupuncturist certified by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CTCMA). Ryan specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, sports injury, stress and anxiety, and digestive disorders.
He has been studying and practicing Chinese Medicine for more than 10 years. Ryan received his degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China, an intense five-year program. He worked as a medical intern and later as a Chinese medical doctor in Beijing Dongzhimen hospital, as well as Beijing Kuanjie hospital. After he moved to Canada in 2010, he started his practice in North Vancouver and then founded Green Life Acupuncture Clinic in Port Moody in 2016.
Ryan uses Acupuncture and other Chinese Medicine techniques to stimulate essential acupoints to improve the circulation of stagnant blood and life energy to get better body balance. This relieves pain and aids in recovery from injury while improving other symptoms. Not only does he treat his patients' present pain, he also considers and cares for future and potential health risks.
Jiyeon An
Jiyeon An completed her five-year degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China and is a Registered Acupuncturist certified by the CTCMA. She started as a medical intern before becoming a Chinese medical doctor at Beijing China-Japan Friendship Hospital and Beijing Kuanjie Hospital. She brought her years of training and experience to Green Life Acupuncture Clinic in 2017.
She specializes in helping her patients achieve balance and healing the whole body on a physical, emotional and energetic level. Her professional interests include women’s health, facial acupuncture, infertility, stress management, anxiety, insomnia and pain management.
Outside of Acupuncture, Emily’s interests include spending her time with her son and family, walking and running, and travel.
