Ryan Kang is a Registered Acupuncturist certified by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CTCMA) and the World Federation of Acupuncture Moxibustion Societies (WFAS). Ryan specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, sports injury, stress and anxiety, and digestive disorders.
He has been studying and practicing Chinese Medicine for more than 10 years. Ryan received his degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in China, an intense five-year program. He worked as a medical intern and later as a Chinese medical doctor in Beijing Dongzhimen hospital, as well as Beijing Kuanjie hospital. After he moved to Canada in 2010, he started his practice in North Vancouver and then founded Green Life Acupuncture Clinic in Port Moody in 2016.
Ryan uses Acupuncture and other Chinese Medicine techniques to stimulate essential acupoints to improve the circulation of stagnant blood and life energy to get better body balance. This relieves pain and aids in recovery from injury while improving other symptoms. Not only does he treat his patients' present pain, he also considers and cares for future and potential health risks.
